Introduction

Although the company has not been active in the iGaming market for very long, you’ll find GameBeat free slots online in jurisdictions all over the world. This is testament to the quality of their output. Dangerous Monster is a slot with free spins as well as a variation on GameBeat’s familiar Rush feature, and it takes a rather more serious approach to its theme than something like World Match’s Space Monsters

Dangerous Monster has a five reels and three columns with 25 fixed paylines. The minimum bet value is 0.25, with the maximum being 50. On the reels there are eight regular symbols: the Monster Hunter, a Vampiress, an Alien Monster and a Claw-Fingered Monster plus the highest four playing cards. The scatter is a dagger and the wild is a bag of money. There is also a moon symbol which is relevant to the bonus feature.

Theme, Graphics and Soundtrack

Set against a dense, dark wood, the large grid, apparently constructed from bones, is semi-opaque, with each symbol in its own simple frame. Disappointingly, the only symbols that have no animation are the monsters. The soundtrack is a full-on choral/orchestral piece which while not particularly ominous is certainly dramatic.

Dangerous Monster bonus features

Free Games

If you land three or more scatters on the reels you win seven free spins with a special mystery symbol selected at random from the four monster symbols. If there is a special monster symbol on the reel, this fills the entire reel. The special monster acts the same as the wild. Monster symbols will never land next to scatter or moon symbols. If you win with a scatter, the free spins counter increases by seven.

Blood Moon Rush Feature

When you land six or more Moon symbols the Blood Moon Rush is launched. Moon symbols remain on the reels while all the others are replaced with empty cells. Moon symbols will stick on the reels while the empty cells spin. When the moon symbol lands on empty cells the counter for the remaining games will increase by three and the moon symbols dropped out in this round are fixed. The feature lasts until the rounds are used up or all the reels are filled with 15 moon symbols. Blood Moon Rush pays out at the end of the rounds, calculated according to the value of all moon symbols. If all the reels are filled with moon symbols, you will also be awarded a Mega jackpot.

Dangerous Monster Review: Our Verdict

The game operates using the familiar GameBeat mechanics, and its structure is essentially the same as many other games from the designer. It’s perfectly adequate in that sense but graphically it isn’t as well conceived as some of their other games, and the RTP is nothing to get excited about.
