Set sail in search of exciting adventure, treasure and untold riches in Sails of Gold!

It is hard to imagine the atmosphere in 17th century Europe when explorers set sail for the newly discovered continent of South America. They disappeared for months and years, only to return with galleons full of gold, silver and spices. Sails of Gold, one of the free slots from the esteemed developer Play’n GO, lets you relive these epic journeys! Weigh the anchor, hoist the mizzen and let’s set sail!

Mobile gaming

This a voyage on which everyone is invited. Sails of Gold is compatible with all Android and iOS devices, with absolutely no downloads necessary. Play when you are out and about on your mobile or tablet and enjoy exactly the same thrilling game experience!

Look and feel

Sails of Gold is lovingly crafted to maximise immersion. The backdrop is filled with the orange and purple tints of a tropical sunset, with the silhouettes of palm trees at the bottom. The reels are decorated in Renaissance style and are held in place by gold-gilded wooden supports. A crown tops the reels. Watch how the reels flash and glow whenever you land a win. The symbols all feature artefacts from the era, including objects that you will need for your voyage!

Format and features

With up to 10 lines to play, Sails of Gold gives you plenty of chances to find treasure. The coin value can vary from $0.01 to $1 and the coin bets per line range from just one up to five. Playing with these settings gives you a minimum bet of $0.10 and a maximum bet of $50 per spin. The interface is beautifully responsive, clearly showing how much you are betting in both cash and game coins. Changing a value updates the numbers across the screen. Whenever you win, the game gives you the option to go head-to-head with the dealer. Guess the colour of the face-down card to double your winnings, or go for the suit to quadruple your prize! Be careful, however, as this is a high stakes game - lose and you will walk away with nothing.

Land ahoy!

The playing card symbols, from 10 to Ace, are brightly coloured and styled with nautical symbols. The 10 and Jack award a line of five with 100 x your bet per line. Hold out for a Queen, King or Ace and you will win 150 x. The other symbols all pay out for combinations of just two or more. The compass - a vital instrument for any explorer - nets you 250 x if you line up all five. The ruby cross is worth a hefty 500 x your bet for a line of five, but the heraldic symbol is the one to keep an eye on - it is worth a huge 1,000 x your line bet for all five! Christopher Columbus himself is the wild, standing in for all other symbols to help you forge more winning spins. Five of him on his own are also worth an unbelievable 5,000 x your line bet!
