There are two casinos in Riverton. These are the Riverton 789 Casino and Smokeshop and the Riverton Wind River Hotel and Casino, the largest in the state.
The Casino and Smokeshop was the first legal casino to open its doors in the state in 1991. The 45,000-square-foot gaming floor boasts over 200 slots, but there are no table games or poker cash games. It is owned by the Northern Arapaho Tribe, which is federally recognized.
