Ancient Egypt Gets a Vegas Groove

Eygptian Rise is a free slots game from the inventive Next Gen gaming company, available on desktop and mobile or tablet. It has an intriguing design, as if the icons of ancient Egypt have been rendered in neon, and you'll find lots of familiar symbols, including the Sphinx, the scarab beetle and the Egyptians' favorite pet, the cat, to play with as you gather ancient Egyptian treasure.

How to Play

Egyptian Rise is a game with five reels, three rows and 243 ways to win. The aim is to win the treasures of the Pharoah and Nefertiti by lining up matching symbols on the reels, and you can play the game on mobile and tablet. When you look at the screen, you will see a button with a gear symbol on it. Clicking on this takes you to a large panel where you can see a number of features pertaining to the game, such as the size of the bet and Autoplay. Clicking on the small I takes you to the paytable and more information about other aspects of the game. The spin button is the large green one to the right of the screen in the middle. Click on this for a single spin, or to set Autoplay in motion once you have made your settings.

Rolling for More Wins

On a Roll is a great extra feature to make more wins possible. First, the wild is the gorgeously colourful scarab beetle which substitutes for all other symbols. More wild scarabs will appear following a win, with an almost mystical energy. After one win, there is an extra wild on reel three. Following two wins, extra wilds can appear on reels two, three and four. If there are three wins, then extra wilds appear on all the reels. The other part of On a Roll is that with every win you get a re-spin. As the wins continue so do the re-spins, until they total four. When On a Roll starts, the Pharaoh at the left of the screen is activated and turns into a series of coloured discs. It gets exciting as you work up through the levels, as the scarabs flash through the reels and you unlock the power of the three pharaohs for free games and more scarabs.

The Force of the Pharaoh

Winning on the fourth re-spin will activate this feature and more free games. You will see the three pharaohs appear at the left of the screen, and during these free spins another five wild scarabs will be added to the reels. When there is a spin without a win a pharaoh disappears, and when all three pharaohs are gone this free spin bonus ends. The feature is played at the bet that triggered it.

All Eyes on the Screen

One of the unusual symbols featured in the game is the Eye of Horus, a traditional symbol of protection, health and royal power. The Eye of Horus is linked to the Goddess Wadjet, whose power will help players to more wins.
