Aside from the low-value playing card icons and the groups of traditional Chinese gold coins, all other symbols come in silver or gold options. They’re displayed to the left of the reels and can be activated and deactivated by tapping on them. Playing in silver mode costs less, but the rewards are low too. Gold symbols pay much higher returns but increase the cost of each spin.

Cai Shen himself is the game’s Wild symbol. He only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4, so he can’t ever generate any wins on his own. But he can stand in for all other game symbols, except for Scatters, helping them to achieve winning combinations. It’s a bright and cheerful game with a happy and laughing Cai Shen, who apparently can’t wait to shower you with wealth. But this is a medium-volatility slot, so that wealth is dispensed rarely, at least in worthwhile amounts.
