Gameplay

Kitty Twins is a five reel, twenty payline slots game with some nice bonus features. It’s pretty, and also pretty relentlessly cat-themed, with purring, meowing sound effects alongside the cute music - and plenty of cats. You must play all twenty lines each spin, but you can choose the amount that you want to bet. Only the lowest paying symbols have little to do with cats. here. They’re the traditional playing card symbols in bright, jewel-like colours, from Nine through to Ace. If three Nines appear on your payline they’ll earn you a prize of twice your initial bet. The prizes get bigger as more symbols appear and the value of the symbols goes up, until five Aces will earn you 120 times your initial stake. Some of these prizes are small, but the game pays out quite frequently so they soon mount up!

Playing cat and mouse

The next set of symbols are all associated with pampered cats. There’s a bowl of milk, a goldfish, a ball of wool and a comfy cat basket - for the kitties to sleep in once they’ve drunk the milk, eaten the goldfish and tangled the ball of wool all over the lounge. These symbols will help you get your claws into some much nicer prizes. Two baskets or two bowls of milk are worth twice your stake. Three are worth twenty times your stake, and the prizes increase until five goldfish will earn your 300 times the amount you bet.

The Aristocats

Then we come to the stars of the show. Two beautiful - and judging from their gleaming collars, very pampered - kitty cats. One is white, with sapphire eyes, and the other is ginger, with emerald eyes. The graphics strike just the right balance between realistic and cute cartoon styles. They’re both Wild, as most cats are deep down, and so they can substitute for any of the other symbols to help you win big. They both earn you big prizes as symbols in their own right: five ginger cats or five white cats are worth a whisker-licking 10,000 times your initial stake. They also act as the Scatter symbol and can trigger up to 50 free spins. During free spins, your winnings are doubled and you can retrieve the free spins if you get more scattered cats.

Paws for thought

Finally, there’s the emerald paw. This symbol only ever shows up on reel 2, and does so quite randomly. When it appears, it transforms into one of the other symbols, again, at random.
