Little Red Riding Hood, but not as you remember her!

This addition to the world of free online slots has been loosely based, by developers IGT, on the age-old tale of Little Red Riding Hood. Only in this version, the main character is a little more, erm, 'provocative' than you probably remember her. All of the key elements from the nursery rhyme are there, with game symbols including poisonous flowers, rabbits, the Big Bad Wolf, Granny, toadstools, the cottage and, of course, Miss Red herself. However, the characters are all grown up and have been given something of a mature and slightly sexy makeover. Once we got over the shock of seeing our innocent childhood heroes transformed in this way, we had to admit that the overall look and styling of the Miss Red game is certainly very impressive. With high-fidelity graphics set against a spooky woodland background, all accompanied by a haunting soundtrack, the developers have obviously invested time and effort into making this game look and feel awesome.

Playing the game

There are five game reels on the Miss Red game screen, each displaying four symbols at a time. This game has 1024 ways to win, as well as MultiWay Extra, free spins, wilds and expanding wilds. All of these features together make for a well-rounded and engaging gameplay experience.

Expanding Symbols

The Miss Red and Big Bad Wolf are both expanding symbols. What this means in practice is that if you catch any symbol on the game reels in between two wolves, it will automatically turn into a wolf, giving you a win. An exception to this rule is if you catch a Miss Red symbol in between two wolves (or a Big Bad Wolf in between two Miss Red symbols), then it will be turned into a Wolf-Little Red symbol. In similar fashion, any symbol caught in between two Miss Red symbols on the game reels will turn itself into a Miss Red symbol. All of this is much harder to explain here than it is to get the hang of when you're playing the game - trust us, all will become clear when you start spinning those reels. If a transformation occurs from one of the expanding wild symbols and the symbol that changes was already part of a winning line, then you will still receive the original win. If, though, the transformation means that another win, or wins, is created then you'll earn that amount as well, in addition to the original win. As for the Wolf-Little Red symbol we mentioned above, this essentially works like a shifting-wild icon, which you may have come across in other games. It can only substitute for Miss Red and Big Bad Wolf symbols on the reels.
