Playson’s animated rain forest, inhabited by smiling monkeys, happy hippos and grinning giraffes, is unlike anything found in any wildlife documentary. The lower-paying symbols in this game are the familiar playing-card symbols: Jack, Queen, King and Ace. With Playson’s typical attention to graphic detail, these symbols are created out of bright jungle foliage, and each has a tiny jungle image on it such as a chameleon or a bird. If these symbols appear adjacently on your paylines from left to right, you’ll earn a prize. Three Jacks or three Queens, for example, will triple the amount that you’ve bet per line, four will multiply your line bet by five and five Jacks or five Queens are worth a pretty generous 20 times your initial bet. These are the lowest-paying cards - the King and the Ace are worth 5, 25 and 100 times your initial line bet, depending on how many you have on a payline.

Animal Magic

The prizes really start mounting up when the animals appear - not two by two, but in groups of three or more. They start with the Bush Baby, the Monkey and the Penguin, all of which are worth 10 times your line bet if three show up. You get 50 times your line bet for four and a respectable 200 times your initial line bet for five on a payline. Penguins are not usually found in jungles, as David Attenborough would confirm, but if they’re handing out prizes, who cares? The prizes increase for the Giraffe and the Hippo, which can be worth up to 1,000 times your line bet. It’s the Lion you really want to see, though. Not only is he worth up to 5,000 your line bet in his own right, but he is (accurately, for once) Wild - he will substitute for any of the lower symbols, making a win more likely. Add in the Scatter symbols, which will award you both prizes and free spins, and a fruity bonus game to boot, and you have a slots game which might be a bit low on scientific accuracy but is very high on enjoyment!
