Review/First Impressions

If you’re a fan of the Walking Dead or George Romero’s zombie films, you’ll love Lost Vegas. Set in the gaming capital of the world in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, this brilliantly put together game is really two in one because you’ll get to play as either a survivor or a zombie. You can switch sides easily, so you get a chance to trigger all the different bonuses in the base game and the free spins.

The visuals are top-notch, as you’d expect from a Microgaming slot, and the bonus features really integrate with the theme - so you stash your cash if you’re a survivor or infect the game with zombie wilds. There are random blackouts, and zombie fists of cash erupt from the reels, making Lost Vegas lucrative as well as one of the most immersive slots out there.

If you love Vegas, you’ll also enjoy The Vegas Nights Slot from Pragmatic Play.

Payout Ratio (or RTP) of Lost Vegas Slot

Lost Vegas has a 96% theoretical RT:P, which is the return on a 100 averaged out over thousands of spins. This gives you some idea of the payout ratio you can expect if you decide to give Lost Vegas a spin.

Lost Vegas

Lost Vegas Slot Graphics

The Strip is eerily empty as the neon glows fitfully. Suddenly, lurching down the street towards you comes the zombie horde - blood-curdling showgirl, toxic nurse, weird tourist guy, the married dead and zombie Elvis.

Back in the survivors’ camp you’ll find a cocktail waitress, plucky working girl, security guard, club-wielding golf pro and gun-toting security guard. Can they face down the flesh-munching zombies and win back the streets of Lost Vegas?

Visuals here are beautifully done in a pitch-perfect comic-book style. Each character is well delineated, and there’s a creepily atmospheric soundtrack that draws you in from the first spin.

How to Play Lost Vegas Slots

Lost Vegas has 243 ways to win that are permanently fixed. To play them all on each spin you’ll need to set a line bet of 0.30 to 45 credits per game.

You can also personalise the game settings, including your autoplay options, which can be customised with win limits. You can also adjust the sound levels and access information on playing the game. Once you’re satisfied with the way Lost Vegas is set up, press the spin button to start playing.

Lost Vegas Game Volatility

This is a medium-volatility slot which has something for all styles of play. Penny players will like the opportunity to land a run of smaller base game wins, while high-rollers will enjoy the different bonuses and their potential for a sizeable payout.

How to Win at Lost Vegas Slots

Multiways-pays slots are also known as scatter pays slots because the symbols don’t have to be on a payline to create a winning combo. Any three or more symbols can pay out as long as they land on adjacent reels, reading from the leftmost one.

The Biohazard symbol is the game scatter and also carries a multiplier prize of up to 50x for five on the reels. The highest-paying paytable symbols are the security guard for the survivors and zombie Elvis, and all wins are multiplied by the line bet so the higher your stake the greater the potential. Look out for the game logo wild symbol to complete one or more winning combinations.

Lost Vegas Bonus Features

Gameplay is where this slot really shines, and there are four bonus features designed to deliver some truly frightening potential - you could win up to 2155x your stake each time you spin.

Survivors’ Bonus

Blackout onus: after any random losing spin, the reels are plunged into darkness. Only you can see the high-value cash prizes through your night vision goggles, so grab ‘em while you can!

Free spins: the Survivor free spins are triggered by landing three or more biohazard scatter symbols anywhere in sight. The card symbols are removed from the reels and are stashed as cash instead, while all other combinations pay again. Once all the royals have been stashed the bonus ends.

Zombie Bonus

Zombie Fist of Cash: after any losing base game spin, the zombie fist shoots upwards from the bottom of the screen, rewarding you with a cash prize.

Free spins: the zombie free spins are also triggered by three or more scatter symbols and come with the infection feature - stacked zombie symbols infect the reels, which then turn single wilds into stacked wilds. Better yet, this bonus continues until all reels are infected or you’ve played 50 free games.

Both base game bonuses will trigger the free spins if there’s a scatter on the reels.

Free Spins on Lost Vegas Slot

The free spins features in Lost Vegas are superb, though we marginally prefer playing the infected reels, as there’s some huge potential. They’re difficult to trigger but well worth the wait.

Lost Vegas Slot On Mobile - Android, iPhones and Tablets

Microgaming slots are designed to be played in-browser using HTML5 technology. This means your slots open on any major smartphone or tablet OS and scales to size for a flawless cross platform experience.
