Big Bad Beasts review: our verdict 

Golden Rock is an up-and-coming developer, so we are not expecting it to hit it out of the park right from the get-go. While this is a decent effort, we can’t help but feel it is a bit of a rip off of other slots. There is no real innovation in terms of bonus features, and the genre feels a little odd. This is a follow up to an original game and it offers us nothing new to make it worth a sequel. The presentation is bland and the gameplay has an awkward pace. The maths model also leaves little to be desired with the low jackpot. 

For modern games, the jackpot and high variance aren’t going to cut the mustard. The features aren’t anything anyone will be excited about either. We are not sure what sort of market this slot will appeal to - it is just too random.
