Before we look at the details of this game, it’s worth getting an idea of how to play. The control panel in Dragon Gems is found beneath the reels as follows:

1. First, click the ‘i’ icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen to see the rules, paylines, and paytable for Dragon Gems.

2. Once you’re happy, set your bet by clicking the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ keys next to the icon. This will adjust your Total Bet and you will be able to see the coin value to the right.

3. When you’re ready to spin, click the large green Spin button in the bottom left-hand corner of the reels. Alternatively, you can click the ‘Auto’ button to the left to select 10 - 99 automatic spins to take place.

In summary, although we love a free spins bonus round, Dragon Gems won us over with its clear and simple design, from aesthetics to gameplay. We thought the game has been beautifully designed and illustrated, particularly the dragon itself, and found the expanding/stacked wilds to be a really useful feature in helping us achieve some impressive wins. The anyways format of the slot and small number of different features helped us hit winning combinations on most spins, which was great, and we were happy with how frequently the Wild Respins triggered with rewarding results.
