Introduction

Theme, Graphics and Soundtrack

The backdrop to this game is attractive in various shades of jade green with a number of static serpents and two fully animated dragons flanking the grid, both with blazing eyes and steaming breath. The reels are a deep maroon colour, and small flaming braziers sit at the bottom of the grid. The symbols are detailed and well drawn, although at first it all looks a little ordinary. However, once things start hotting up the animation kicks in, and if you fill the entire grid with the same icon, you’ll see an extremely grand red banner announcing a big win with a fireworks extravaganza and swelling music.

The soundtrack is standard off-the-peg Chinese muzak, but it works perfectly well in the context. Good to look at.

How to Play Mystery Dragons

1. Use the plus and minus buttons either side of the bet counter to set the bet level of your choice.
2. After you have selected your preferred bet, you are ready to begin playing by using the Spin button. Alternatively, the space bar will also spin the reels. This is an optional function that you can switch on or off in settings.
3. Clicking on Auto Play will take you into the autoplay menu. Here you can choose a number of automatic spins. You will see the number you have chosen confirmed on the button, and this number will count down as the spins proceed. You may stop the auto play mode by clicking on the button.
4. In the Auto menu you can set a loss limit, a total win limit and a single win limit. The mode will stop automatically if you win any bonus or feature.

Mystery Dragons Bonus Features

Expanding Scattered Symbols Feature

Every win symbol unlocks an expanding magic symbol for the next spin. This symbol may expand to cover all three positions on a reel and pays like the regular symbol but additionally on non-adjacent positions and on all lines played. The expansion only occurs if there are enough symbols present for a win.

Dragon Flags

Three or more scatters landing will award free spins. A second screen will then appear displaying all five flags with feature options. The options are 5, 7, 10, 15 or a mystery number of spins. If you select the mystery flag, you will be given one of the free spin numbers on the other flags as well as one of the multipliers on them. The free spins bonus activates immediately after the flag selection.

The expanding magic effect remains active until the end of the free spins bonus. The feature may be won again during the free spins.
