Wild West Wilds Game Theme and Storyline

It’s not difficult to guess the general storyline and which characters appear once you know that it is based on the Wild West. There are four main characters depicted on the reels, including a sheriff, showgirl, cowgirl and the obvious outlaw. All of them, minus the showgirl, are carrying guns and looking ever so mysterious in their wide-brimmed hats.

Just the inclusion of these characters alone takes your mind to a dusty old town with wooden buildings, including, of course, a bar with a swinging door. You can just imagine walking down the middle of the road, flanked by your trusty horse, as you give nods to the locals who look at you in fear, wondering who the stranger is. Wild West Wilds Graphics

The graphics are well done, with the characters looking a little familiar due to well known video games (and other slots) featuring their likeness. They may not be exact, but the outlaw does bear a striking resemblance to some common games characters found in the Wild West. Even so, all four characters look the part and help pull you into the storyline.

In addition to the main four, the other symbols are also linked to the main theme. You will find pistols, sheriff badges and playing card symbols that have been transformed to look like the same wooden slats that the houses in the town are made from. Overall, like the majority of Playtech demo slots, it works really well and has that touch of added quality which makes it more entertaining to play.

If you want to customise the game, you will find all of your playing options below the reels. The main option, to spin the reels, sits on the right side and is placed next to the turbo option. Click on this and you can make the reels spin at double the speed, which is perfect for those of use who are a little impatient. There are two forms of wild in this slot, which both payout when you land 3, 4 or 5 of them. In addition to this, they will substitute for any symbol needed to create a winning combination, where possible.

The scatter is the pistol symbol and is the key to respins and free spins. Land 2 of them and you will trigger the respin feature, whilst 3 of them will trigger free spins. During these features, the silver badge symbol will appear as a sticky wild to help increase your chances of winning.
