Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

We can’t pretend the visuals for this game are anything new. There is an absolute plethora of Ancient Egyptian and Aztec themed slots out there. This one doesn’t look any different, despite theoretically being set in an earlier time period. The colour palette consists of gold, reds (as you might expect) and also greens and lilacs, somewhat less predictably.

The game icons are detailed and some considerable effort has clearly gone into making them stand out. The background is fairly detailed and portrays what we assume is a typical building of the Sumerian era, with palm fronds swaying gently in a breeze. Perhaps we should consider this as history and take the opportunity to learn more.

So, as you find yourself chair dancing along to the mid-tempo groove that is this game’s soundtrack, you’ll find yourself wondering what they might have listened to in Sumerian times? Almost definitely not this, but somehow it fits well. The sound effects are similarly futuristic, yet wholly appropriate.

How to Play Book of Anunnaki

1. Use the handily named Paytable icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to view the paytable, rules and settings.

Our Verdict    

This is a game for those with little time. The HyperJump, allowing you to skip any no-win spins and head straight to the features, is interesting. It should also be used with caution. Keep an eye on how many of those no-win spins there really are, as you could easily empty your pot in record time. We managed to burn through 100 spins and didn’t hit one feature.

The stacked symbol feature is always popular and tends to elevate games above others in the same genre. With no RTP or variance ratings available, you will need to make your own judgement as to how valuable it is here.
