How to play

Gems of the Gods is a little bit different to most slots games out there, offering a five by five grid, onto which the sparkling gems drop. The aim is to line up matching gems to unlock glittering rewards. The theme is based around the empire of the Greek gods, who ruled from Mount Olympus, which is the background for the game. The gems include hexagonal sapphires of intense blue, the five-sided amethyst-like purple stone and a four-sided turquoise gem. All of them pay out different amounts - lining up the red stones will trigger the largest payouts. At the bottom of the screen you will see a number of panels and buttons. At the far right is the Spin button - click on this to set the game in motion. Next to this is a button that takes you to the Autoplay feature. Here you can set the parameters as you like them and watch the jewels tumble into place, spin after speedy spin. Gift from the heavens

The Lightning Symbol is always welcome during Gems of the Gods, because it activates the Lightning Feature. When this crackles into life, it changes all the occurrences of one type of gem into another, which can lead to a lot more wins. Multipliers are activated according to how many instances of a gem are lined up, and during a free game, it is even possible to line up six symbols leading to a richer payout.

Gems of the Gods features cascading reels. One win can set off another and before you know it, multipliers can come into play to ramp up the action.

Coining it

At the start of each round, three coins sit above the grid. When the reels start to cascade and make space, the coins drop onto the grid. If the reels keep on cascading and one or more of the coins end up at the bottom of the grid, then a free round of five games is activated. Also, the coin that made it to the bottom of the grid becomes a wild symbol for the duration of the round, substituting for all symbols except Lightning. When the free spins round is activated, the background changes and the player enters an impressive amphitheatre, where the free spins take place.
