Deadly 5 Slot Review
Deadly 5 from Push Gaming places itself firmly in the Wild West theme. It looks like a top game, but fans of this studio will likely feel a little short-changed on the features and gameplay. Push Gaming has managed to turn heads with many recent releases (we have Mad Cars and Fat Banker in mind), but here we have a basic slot game that almost delivers the bare minimum that we expect from online slots in this day and age.
Not to say that you should ignore this title and move on to another slot straight away. Deadly 5 does have some charm, mainly in the shape of free spins and powered-up wilds. Though we must look at all the details before sending our verdict out. So, we pick apart the slot and find out just how deadly these Deadly 5 can be – in prize-winning terms, of course.
Theme & Graphics
Deadly 5 has that Push Gaming aesthetic; to anyone new to this studio, that basically means slick visuals and detailed game areas. The Deadly 5 online slot is no different, with the intricately designed bandits spinning within the wooden signboard in the middle of a typical dusty old Western town.
Deadly 5 Slot Soundtrack
Throw in the Western soundtrack, and it all comes together nicely for this Wild West theme, but nicely is about as much as we can describe the whole design. It does the job, but it’s not going to blow you away, and it certainly won’t be winning any awards for creativity.
Deadly 5 RTP & Variance
Deadly 5 has an RTP of 96.39%, although this is an adjustable RTP, so keep track of the game rate you are playing. At the highest percentage, it’s decent and above the average of our collection of online slots. The medium volatility creates balanced gameplay that helps to appeal to all player budgets.

How to Play Deadly 5 Slots
The old tale of Sheriffs looking to take down pesky bandits is one that we all know, but let’s run over the details to ensure you get a clean run at them:
- Click the spin icon to start the Deadly 5 reels
- Use the total bet section to set your cost per spin
- All the game info can be found via the main menu icon
- Click the autoplay button for additional information
- Choose your auto-spin number
- Adjust the loss limit setting
- Set your single win limit
How to Win
The 5x4 layout and 20 paylines keep the gameplay relatively straightforward, with symbol combos of three or more triggering payouts. Players should also enjoy the vast range of payouts that max out at 250x the bet for landing five of the wild Sheriffs badge symbols.
Deadly 5 Slot Free Spins
Find yourself with at least three safe scatters on the reels, and you will be treated to the Deadly 5 free spin bonus feature. Three scatters bring you 10 spins and a 3x instant prize, four scatters give you 15 spins and a 10x instant prize, while five safe scatters provide 20 spins and a top 50x instant prize.
Deadly 5 Sheriff Bonus Extra
You also get an additional feature running throughout the free spins that bring the Wanted Posters above the reels into play. The Sheriff appears on the fifth and final reel and sticks there while you try and land each character below their Wanted Poster – do so, and you’ll activate additional wild expanded symbol prizes.
Deadly 5 Review - Our Verdict
Only recently, our team reviewed and approved the impressive although slightly brutal Mad Cars online slot, so expectations were high as we sat down and launched Deadly 5. Yes, we instantly noticed the Wild West theme, and there seems to be an incessant need to hammer this theme time and time again at the moment, but as we have mentioned in the past, it’s a top theme and one that players enjoy. It just needs to be an “all guns shooting” type of design to really hit home that Wild West message.
Push Gaming Could Push Things A Little Further
Does Deadly 5 demo slot have that gun-slinging action? Well, looks-wise, it’s not all that bad. The bandits and sheriff all look dangerous (in a cartoony kind of way), and the visuals are glossy, à la Push Gaming. But the gameplay? It leaves you with a sort of “take or leave it” feeling. In short, we expected more, but only because recent releases from the studio were so immersive.
The free spins and expanding wild features steal the somewhat subdued show, and the top prize of 5,000x your bet will not get many players pumped up for a slot session. Perhaps they shot themselves in the foot and put too much pressure on themselves, or perhaps they just fancied throwing out a “portfolio filler” online slot – something most studios tend to do every now and again.
Is It Worth A Spin?
The overall verdict for our slot review? Deadly 5 looks and plays great, the basic features thrown in can be exciting for a while, but there is a definite lack of the longevity factor here. We expected more, but there is still room for some fun to be had. But we now look forward to the next Push Gaming release, and even higher expectations will be put on that one. Fair? Maybe not, but we know what this team is capable of, and we trust them to deliver!
If you fancy spinning the reels of something a bit more rewarding from the Push Gaming team, give Bison Battle a go. If it’s all-out Wild West gameplay, we suggest you look at Money Train for proper gun-slinging slot gameplay and one that pays out prizes akin to Wild West loot.
