Hot To Burn from Pragmatic Play is a pretty big let-down – especially when you compare it with other recent releases from this developer, like Aztec Bonanza and Great Rhino Megaways.

For a medium variance game, the wins weren’t even very frequent. In fact, it wasn’t uncommon for us to go more than 20 spins without a win. Our payouts ranged from 1x to 20x, so it lacks both the payouts of a high volatility game and the frequency of a medium or low volatility slot. So, overall, Hot To Burn doesn’t offer the most rewarding of gaming experiences.

This is all on top of the fact that there is a very basic theme. As a result, Hot To Burn doesn’t offer much in terms of entertainment.

It’s pretty disappointing, as Pragmatic Play is known for creating some fantastic slots. If you’d like to play a fruit machine-style slot from this developer, you’d be better off trying a game like Extra Juicy. At least it has background music!
