Imperial Fruits 100 Lines - Introduction

Released in September 2019, Playson's Imperial Fruits 100 Lines is the third release in its Imperial Fruits series, following on from its 5 line and 40 line predecessors. All three games in the series draw upon a number of traditional roots in terms of theme, each with familiar fruits, 7's and stars among their symbols, but each with a modern twist.

The star symbols act as scatters and although they don't trigger any bonus game, they do pay out independently of any of the 100 winning line configurations. The main feature in this slot is the expanding wild, which is the crown symbol that can cover an entire reel when it is expanded. As the slot name suggests, there are 100 winning lines derived from the 5 reel, 4 row layout.

Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

Playson has excelled itself with the graphics in this slot. The background is muted and its design evokes a short of land based feel. However, the richness and attention to detail on each of the symbols is amazing, even down to the last juice droplet on each of the fruits. The crown wild and the star scatters gleam, and the vibrant colours of the fruits make them almost glow. The wilds expand with an animated flourish and the bigger wins look impressively as though they're catching fire. In keeping with the traditional theme of the game there's no background soundtrack, but you do get a rendition of Strauss's Radetzky March if you get a big, super or mega win turns.

How to Play Imperial Fruits

1. Once the slot loads, touch 'Play' on the splash screen to start the game.

2. Take some time to familiarise yourself with the game, as well as its rules and its settings. Touch the menu button on the bottom right to access sound effects and music settings. While in the menu, touch the information button for details on the paytable, features and winning lines.

Scatter

There are two scatters in this slot, and both are paying symbols. The gold scatter can appear anywhere on up to 5 reels and will pay independently of any of the 100 lines configuration. The diamond scatter appears on reels 1, 3 and 5 and will pay in any position.

Expanding Wild

The Crown symbol acts as an expanding wild and appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. While it is not a paying symbol itself, it presents scope for some pretty big wins.

Imperial Fruits 100 Lines is a great addition to Playson's Imperial Fruits series which brings a modern twist to a traditional theme. While there is no bonus game, the medium volatility offers enough wins to keep interest and during our 250 spin trial run we managed a big win and a mega win with wilds expanding over 2 reels, with the latter triggering an 84 ways win. The variance, combined with the 96.42% RTP value meant that it did not feel like there weren't significantly long waits between wins.

We were bowled over with the richness of the graphics in this game. The attention to detail really does take the classic fruits theme to another level.
