The Inspector Gadget story

The world caught its first glimpse of Inspector Gadget back in 1983 when the animated television series appeared on TV screens. Partly human, partly cyborg but wholly inept, our hero is charged with investigating and bringing down Dr Claw and his nefarious organisation MAD; however, the villains are invariably routed by the inspector’s niece Penny, accompanied by her faithful hound Brain. Loosely based on the Inspector Clouseau character from The Pink Panther franchise, Inspector Gadget wears a similar type of coat and features the same degree of ineptitude. The character quickly gained approval from legions of fans, leading to further spin-offs including animations and a feature film that starred Matthew Broderick in the title role. Now players can continue to engage in the character’s signature mayhem with the arrival of this latest online slots game, which features many elements from the original show - not least the characters of MAD.

If you are already a fan of the hapless inspector, you will instantly recognise the theme music that accompanies this Blueprint slots game, which is taken directly from the original show. The game opens against a background of floorboards - there are pawprints, no doubt left by Penny’s dog Brain, along with some money from the Bank of Gadget. How to play Inspector Gadget
