How to Play Mayan Rush

1. Touch Continue on the splash screen to enter the game.

2. Select whether you want to use the Super Stake feature. Super Stake doubles your bet amount. You can change your option by toggling Super Stake on or off using the controls in the main game.

Mayan Rush Bonus Features

Mayan Rush Mode

To trigger Rush Mode, you need consecutive wins to knock out all the blocks to reveal the full 5x5 positions on the reels. Any losing round will return you to the 1-3-5-3-1 layout again. At the beginning of Rush Mode, if you get winning symbols, they are assigned to either the blue Multiplier totem on the left or the red Lives totem on the right, depending on their colour. The totems start at x2 for the Multiplier totem and x1 life for the Lives totem. Any win containing five symbols will add to the Multiplier, but any losing rounds will deduct a life from the Lives totem. The bonus round finishes when no lives are left.

Super Stake

Super Stake triggers at random. It starts with a 1-3-5-3-1 layout and a coin with a win value appearing on the centre reel. You're granted three free spins. If no more coins appear during those free spins, you win the amount on the coin. If one or more coins appear on a free spin, the number of free spins granted goes back up to three again, and any blocks above or below a coin will be knocked out. Knock out all the blocks, and the prizes on all coins are doubled. Land all 25 coins and the coin values will be multiplied by 5. The feature ends when all coins are revealed, or after three consecutive losing free spins.

Mayan Rush Review

Mayan Rush is gorgeous to look at and the sound effects are amazing, especially during the Super Stake feature. Its high volatility and near-misses to trigger the Rush Mode can be frustrating, however. On our test run, it appeared that Super Stake triggered more frequently than Rush Mode, but even that was rare. Pragmatic Play's John Hunter and the Mayan Gods slot has a similar level of variance but a slightly higher-than-average RTP, which may be a little more rewarding.
