Layout

This game features a very retro styled layout, with three reels that have three rows each. The paylines are fixed, but there is a variable bet level ranging from one to ten, increasing in increments of one. There is a very wide range of prizes just waiting to be won, with winnings both big and small awarded to lucky players who manage to find instances of three of a kind adjacent matching symbols, oriented from left to right in a valid configuration. In total, there are 11 symbols on the prize table. Seven of these are just regular sorts, with the remaining four offering a number of special features.

Prize Table

The most valuable regular symbol on the prize table is the mighty lion. Finding five of these in a valid configuration will earn prizes of up to 24,000 credits, when playing with the highest bet level. Next up is the elephant, which offers smaller top prizes of 12,000 credits. Any winning combination will be replaced with new symbols from the stack above, wherever possible. Successive wins cause the multiplier at the bottom of the screen to grow. This multiplier modifies all wins until none are available, at which point it reverts to zero. Symbol matches will also award free symbol substitution on the winning reels as well as a prize.

Bonus

The first special symbol is the game flash icon. Finding three of these on an active payline will trigger the feature, with players awarded a prize based on where the light stops after a number of spaces have flashed. Photo Safari is triggered by finding three camera icons or via the game flash feature. Triggering the feature will take players to a board, where players must make it as far as possible across the board, whilst photographing animals in a particular order. Treasure hunt is another board based bonus game. Finding three symbols will activate the feature, with players having to click on the highlighted red question marks. Doing so will reveal either a prize of a space with a hole. This game also includes checkpoints along with the chance to double bonus winnings. The Jewel of Africa is also a board game. Finding three of these will take players to a breakout round, starting in a random position on the game map. The player then has 12 rolls of the dice to get as far as possible across the map, in return for generous prizes. Rolling a six will result in an extra roll of the dice.
