Diamond Rush is part of the Diamond District series of slots from game designer AGS. It is played on a staggered 3-3-4-3-3 reel set that generates 324 bet ways paying left to right. It has a scatter symbol on reels 1, 3 and 5, which triggers bonus games when at least three land. There is also a wild on reels 2 and 4 that substitutes for all other winning symbols, except for the scatter. In bonus games, an expanded wild can land on the same reels. In this phase, which can re-trigger, three wilds on the same reel will stick and the other reels will re-spin once.

In the base game, a diamond can appear on the center reel with a Grand, Major or Minor symbol or a credit prize. In bonus games, only credit prizes can appear. A five-of-a-kind diamond win awards the prize indicated on reel 3, and a win multiplier applies to the stake.
