The modifiers in this game are called Ghost Urns, and they are triggered by landing a Ghost Glyph in a winning combination. Every time you hit a winning cluster, a Ghost Glyph is formed; if this glyph is involved in another win, then the first Ghost Urn is activated. Up to five can be activated on each spin – and they are randomly shuffled each round. The four modifiers are:

• Red Ghost Urn: removes all instances of one symbol from the reels.
• Green Ghost Urn: picks one low-paying symbols and transforms all instances of it into another low-paying symbol
• Yellow Ghost Urn: adds between 4 and 10 random wilds to the reels
• Blue Ghost Urn: trigger the free spins round or awards three more free spins

Free Spins

Overall Review

Ghost Glyph is a great addition to Quickspin’s collection of cluster slots. The first game that the developer released with this mechanic was Golden Glyph which has some similar features like additional wilds and transforming symbols – but Ghost Glyph takes things to a whole new level.

The reel modifiers in the base game are generous enough but, when you add them to the Paranormality Meter features in the free spins round, the game really gets interesting. There is so much winning potential available in this game’s free spins bonus – which is probably why its so difficult to trigger – and, you could really walk away with some great payouts.

The inherent gameplay of Ghost Glyph is engaging, with lots of different things happening at the same time to keep you entertained. It’s a bit like a spooky version of Reactoonz, which couldn’t possibly be a bad thing.
