We don’t get to go inside the haunted house, as we are restricted to the graveyard that surrounds it; however, it is a satisfyingly spooky setting with pairs of menacing red eyes peering through the gloom and an Edgar Allen Poe-ish raven perched ominously on a tree root. Night birds fly across the face of the moon and lights blaze inside the house.
The grid is a section of the outer wall of the house and the reels are windows giving a glimpse of the interior. Each time the reels stop spinning, the glass shatters as the symbols come to rest.

The soundtrack is a tongue in cheek echo of films such as The Munsters and The Addams Family, while the depiction of the ghosts owes a lot to movies such as Ghostbusters.

How to play Haunted House

1. Click - or + to select the total bet.
2. Press the spin button to spin the reels with the current bet; alternatively, you can press the space bar to spin.
3. If you click the power button, you give yourself the option to enable the buy bonus feature. When this is enabled, the next round will cost 110 and the player has access to the feature immediately after pressing the spin button. You can also enable fast play, which is not the same as turbo play. It simply spins the wheels at top speed for the selected number of times with the progress hidden behind the front screen and only the result made visible. The feature stops when a bonus is triggered.
4. For autoplay mode, press the auto button and select the number of spins to autoplay. This can be from ten to infinity or until the free spins are triggered.
5. You can end the automatic game by pressing the stop button to the right of the spin button.

Free spins 

Free spins can be triggered when there is no win on the payline. 12 free spins will be awarded, which are played at the same bet level as in the game that triggered the free spins round. The free spins bonus cannot be triggered again during the free spins round. Autoplay will stop automatically when the free spins bonus is triggered.

Gamble 

To gamble any win, press the gamble button. You then need to choose red or black. If the card turns and you have chosen correctly, your bet is doubled; if not, you lose your winnings. This is one of the simplest games we have come across from Eurasian Gaming. The options are limited by the reduced grid, which would not necessarily be a problem if the game had plenty of other features; however, the features have also been slimmed down. With only free spins and the ubiquitous although welcome gamble feature, it is a game that looks much better than it plays.
