History
Sand Springs opened in 2004, following the opening of Hominy in 2002 and Pawhuska in 2003. All are owned and operated by Osage Nation Gaming, overseen by the Osage Tribe Gaming Enterprise Board, which was created by the Osage Tribal Council. The tribe then opened a Tulsa casino in 2005, a venue in Bartlesville in 2006 and Skiatook and Ponca city in 2007.
