Theme & Story

Based on the California Gold Rushes of the mid-1800s, this slot has a historic theme with plenty of Old West and natural imagery. Across the top of the reels is the game name, Gold Rush, in a classic Old West font. Beyond the reels is a cartoon-style depiction of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountain range. The imagery includes grassy rocks and a babbling stream, which is where gold prospectors would have panned for this precious stone. Within the reels are a series of relevant symbols, including a male gold prospector and a gold panning sieve, as well as money bags and bars. The game has atmospheric windy sound effects playing throughout, which are complemented by a jaunty bango trill every time you land a win.

How to Play Gold Rush (Rival Gaming)

1. Locate the tool bar below the reels. Start by choosing a Coin Value using the arrows above and below the displayed amount. Coin Values range from 0.01 to 10.00.
2. Next, choose the number of coins you wish to wager. Number of Coins ranges from 1 to 3. This gives you a minimum possible bet of 0.01 and a maximum possible bet of 30.00.

Overall Gold Rush (Rival Gaming) Review

This game has an excellent historical theme based on the Gold Rushes of the mid-1800s, which led to the creation of the Wild West and the settlement of California. The decent theme is mildly marred by a simplistic game format, with just one payline and three reels. The game also lacks a free spin feature or any other bonus game. It does, however, have an excellent Wild symbol feature, which multiplies wins by x2 or even x4. We also really liked the Coin Value/Number of Coins wager system, which means you can bet from just 0.01 all the way up to 30.00. Another highlight is the Any Bar Combo wins.
