This is a very attractive looking game. If you can ignore the slightly obtrusive repeated graphic of the KA dice symbol (or resize your screen until they disappear) then you are left with a river scene from deep in the heart of China, with a gleaming gold sunrise or sunset with crashing currents and leaping fish. 

The grid itself is elegantly designed, with lots of red and gold, while the reels themselves are invisible so all the attention is on thr extremely bright and detailed illustrations of the icons. The animations that greet a win are well-judged and the cascades of coins are reserveed for nice wins, big wins and huge wins. The soundtrack is a little uninspired - off the shelf Chinese musical approximation - but doesn’t detract seriously.

Before you start the game, take a moment to familiarize yourself with the game set-up, controls and functions with our simple guide:

3. Click new bet to set the bet level from 0.25 to 125.00. The number of lines is fixed at 25.
4. Click max bet to go straight to the highest possible wager.

Golden Fish Review: Our Verdict

When the game loads it all looks promising - very nicely designed with KA Gaming usual very clear controls. However, the gameplay itself is a little lacking. There is no progression to a bonus game and with no human characters it feels little inert. The free spins round is really nothing to get excited about and it does feel that the game has been under-developed. Fun for a while, but not a slot with staying power.
