Good Fortune Theme & Design

Although the theme of this game is consistent, it’s not intrusive. There’s no storyline, characters or gimmicks of any sort, but there is still a strong Chinese theme throughout the art and design. There are lots of red and gold colours as well as Chinese imagery like gold and silver taels, lucky coins, ornate hand fans, koi carp and paper lanterns. How to Play Good Fortune

The first thing you’ll notice about this game is that it has five different betting levels: 8x 18x 38x 36x and 88x. As tempting as it is to start tinkering with this straight away, the first thing you should do is click on the small stack of coins button and choose your bet per spin level from the pre-set amounts. Once you’ve set this, choose your multiplier from the five levels above. This will multiply your original bet again in addition to changing your reel symbols. Every time you raise this level, it will upgrade each symbol on the reels to the one directly above it in the paytable. This sounds complicated, but you can view a visual diagram of this within the game. When you’ve finished setting your bet level, you will see the total updated amount in the bottom right of the reel screen. There are not many bonuses in this game, but there are Wilds and Scatters that activate the free spins round. Both of these symbols are red and have their name written on them. The Wild symbol can substitute all other symbols on the screen except the scatter, and it can only appear on the central reels. The Scatter can award you with 10 free spins when it shows up three or more times on the reels, and it also comes with its own bonus multiplier; 3 = 5x, 4 = 10x and 5 = 50x.

The free spins are awarded at the same bet level as the spin that triggered them, and all the low-paying card symbols are removed from the reels for its duration.
