Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack 

The theme of Fruit Serenity is closer to the traditional fruit machine than most games around at present, with the exception that it seems to be set in the middle of an orchard, with baskets of inviting-looking fruit set at the lower reaches of the screen. Although the bananas in the basket to the left will not be looking ripe for long, as they sit within a basket of apples.

Whilst the fruit in the foreground looks well rendered and delicious, the rendering of the actual game symbols look quite dated - like an early 2000s computer-generated animation.

Reels spin and recoil smoothly, but if you are lucky enough to land a big win across multiple paylines, the game spends a good while showing you each win in turn. It is possible to skip this, but it should not be necessary in a modern game.

In keeping with the game’s name, the music is supposed to be calming and meditative, sounding like the backdrop to some Tai Chi. But as is so often the case in online slots, reel effects and win jingles overpower what is a fairly effective and well-produced soundtrack. Thankfully, the settings cog in the bottom right of the reels gives you the option to turn background music or sound effects off, allowing you to enjoy one or the other. It does not seem possible for both pieces of audio to co-exist peacefully!
