Fire Chibi Animations & Audio

The animations and audio really make this game, though as it’s a CQ9 creation you’ll find the slow animations that pop up whenever you win. When you spin the reels in the base game, the ships move through calm blue water and when you're in the free game the ships fire flaming arrows to set the land in front of them ablaze. The reels spin fast, but when you win the notifications obscure the screen and seem to drag on longer than they should. That’s not usually an issue, but there’s no way to speed up these animations at all. The music is quite good as it’s an epic battle soundtrack with lots of percussion and when you enter the free game, the music changes and becomes much more intense. It’s quite a good soundtrack for a slot game, something else that CQ9 tend to excel at.

How to Play Fire Chibi

It’s incredibly easy to play this game, as it’s optimised for mobile gaming (though it can be played on any size screen) and it only has a few essential buttons on display. Click on the button with a stack of coins on it to open the bet adjustment menu and use the toggle buttons to set your bet value. The information display will show you the total amount of your bet as you update the settings. Once you’re satisfied with this amount, just click the CQ9 logo button to take a spin. The higher paying symbols are made from battle gear and the lower paying ones consist of traditional playing card symbols. The wild is a battleship and the scatter symbol is a golden war banner.

When the Golden Scatter Banner appears on your screen, you’ll be awarded multipliers and a number of free spins. Three scatters will earn you 2x and 10 free spins, 4 gets you 5x and 15 free spins and 5 will award you with 50x and 25 free spins. During this round, any wild symbols that appear on the reels get chained in to place and remain there until the game is over; which can make for some epic wins. Unfortunately though, the free round does have its downsides, one of the biggest being that it can only be triggered once during the gameplay, so while you can get huge wins you can only do it once. The other downside is that pesky slow animation, which is more evident than ever once the locked wilds come in to play. You can speed the win notifications up slightly by button bashing repeatedly on the screen, but that quickly becomes tedious.
