It’s clear that their team now bears the experience required to keep up – and, in some instances – even outperform the big name leads in the industry, and Goblins and Gemstones is a breath of fresh air – cementing the idea that Kalamba Games are, indeed, becoming one of the market leaders they desperately want to become.

We don’t care much for the “Paired Reels” feature; it feels like a poorly-done remake of NetEnt’s Twin Spin slot – but the other two main Free Spins bonuses work really well, and the locking symbol round – the highest variance – really can churn out some mega wins.

Our only real criticism of Goblins and Gemstones is the fact that the minimum bet is pretty high – you currently need to bet at least 0.50 credits per spin. While this won’t affect all players, those looking to play slots on an ultra-low budget may find that this sets the game out of budget – so just bear this in mind.
