Rounders is an online video slot from game designer Mobilots. 
It has a 5x5 reel setup, and profits are provided by cluster wins. To achieve these, four symbols must combine by touching on one of the four sides of the tile.

There is a wild symbol that substitutes for all other symbols on the reels, improving chances of landing winning combinations.

Each time four or more jackpot symbols combine to form a winning cluster, they contribute to a jackpot that pays out once it reaches 50.00. When this is landed, a bonus game opens. The jackpot wins only go to the jackpot pool and are not collected by the player at the end of the spin.

Theme, Graphics and Soundtrack 

The theme of Rounders is difficult to spot at first, but the screen backdrop suggests we are in a temple located in Mesoamerica. There are carved stones and heads, and this would imply we should see the symbols as masks. The theme tune, with pipes and percussion, confirms this theory, although perhaps the designer could have given us more clues.
As it is, the symbols are colorful and scary, especially the character who sits above the jackpot meter that is to the left of the reels.

Despite its rather confusing theme and distinct lack of features, Rounder remains an intriguing game. The RTP is not brilliant, the jackpot is not massive, and the bet spread is narrow, but Rounders is a strangely engaging game.
