There’s just no denying it, Odysseus is a pretty heroic guy. I mean, the guy is literally the hero of the Trojan War.

He is also the central character in Homer’s Odyssey, which is pretty epic in its own right. Now you can join Odysseus as he travels back home from war to take his deserved place on the throne of Ithaca.

The Theme

During his long journey home, Odysseus collects precious artefacts and riches. Don’t be fooled though because this isn’t the easiest of trips.

Along the way he will find himself imprisoned by a Cyclops, encounter several huge storms and come face to face with Circe. She’s a witch-goddess who will turn many of his soldiers into pigs. See what I mean? Not a great journey, although his journey is arguably better than the guys that got turned into pigs.

Either way, it turns out to be quite the epic voyage, lasting 10 years and with many hurdles to overcome. You wouldn’t want to make that journey more than once.

Thankfully however your journey won’t be nearly so treacherous, so it’s time to grab an oar and have a spin.

Just remember to avoid Circe at all costs. Alongside Odysseus himself there are Trojan horses, soldiers, Greek coins and helmets in abundance.

The choppy seascape background really sets the scene, with even the spin button receiving a Greek makeover, and the music is a perfect fit too. They really haven’t overlooked any details here.
