Theme and Graphics of Reactoonz 2

Everything we enjoyed about the first Reactoonz slot is right here in the sequel. You have a similar electro-themed soundtrack with the high-paying and low-paying symbols divided into two-eyed and one-eyed aliens.

The main difference, when it comes to graphics, is that there is just a bit more going on in terms of detail. The characters’ faces are more animated, as they change their facial expressions and look at one another, adding a new level to the overall look of the game.

Not too much has changed in terms of aesthetics, which is perfectly fine with us. The first Reactoonz  already looked great, so there was no need for Play n GO to really change anything.

RTP and Variance

The RTP of Reactoonz 2 is 96.2%. This is a little bit of a downgrade from the original game which boasted a payout percentage of 96.51%. It’s also a high volatility game, similar to the first slot.

How to Win at Reactoonz 2

As is the case with the original game, Reactoonz 2 creates winning combinations when five or more matching symbols land together in a group. Up to 15 symbols can be involved in a win, with the top paytable prize being 500x your stake. The overall grand prize is 5083x.

Whenever you hit a win in Reactoonz 2 slots, a cascade will occur. This means that all of the winning symbols will disappear and new symbols will fall into their places.

Electric Wilds and the Fluctometer

Electric wilds in the game appear when a low-paying symbol “fluctuates”. If a fluctuating symbol is involved in a win, an electric wild will be added to the reel in its place on the next cascade.

The Fluctometer is activated whenever an electric wild appears on the reels. Once that metre is fully charged, between 1 and 3 electric wilds will be added to the game. This can occur more than once in a spin.

Quantumeter and Gargantoon Bonus

Whenever non-wild symbols are removed by an electric wild, the Quantumeter will be charged. Once you’ve collected 55 symbols in the metre, you’ll activate Level 1 on the Quantumeter:

• Level 1: needs 55 symbols to activate and triggers four 1x2 Energoon wilds
• Level 2: needs 85 symbols to activate and triggers one 2x2 Energoon wilds
• Level 3: needs 110 symbols to activate and triggers one 3x3 Gargantoon wild
• Level 4: needs 135 symbols to activate and adds a 2x multiplier for all Gargantoon wins

Just as it happens in the original game, Gargatoon symbols break down. When the 3x3 symbol triggers a cascade, it will separate into two 2x2 Gargatoon wilds. These will then break apart into 9 1x2 Gargantoonz.  

Once the feature is over, if two electric wilds remain on the reels beside each other, you’ll trigger the Wild Pair Explosion. This will cause all of the symbols except for the wilds the be removed from the screen. If they are not beside each other, all symbols between them are removed.

Reactoonz 2 Review

The online slots world has long awaited a sequel to the huge hit Reactoonz, and Reactoonz 2 looks like it will bring as much fun and excitement as the original – if not more. The game has plenty of great bonuses on offer, and players can look forward to loads of thrills as they spin the reels, thanks to all of the different metres and wild features.

With two metres, Reactoonz 2 runs the risk of being a bit too complicated – but, we imagine you’ll get over that hurdle once you’ve played a few spins. So, don’t let the complex-sounding rules deter you; this game is definitely worth a go.

The top prize is just 5083x, so it doesn’t have the most generous payday in the slots market. However, the first Reactoonz only had a top prize of 4570x, so it’s not really a big disappointment.

The main letdown is that there doesn’t seem to be as much of a range of bonuses in Reactoonz 2 as there was in the original game. In the first Reactoonz, there were several different random features that could be triggered – such as symbols being transformed, turned wild or removed – but you only really have different styles of wilds in this game.
