Make like Indiana Jones to find buried treasure in a new Egyptian-themed offering in the world of free slots games. Theme

The reels are black but slightly transparent and set against a richly coloured tomb with two columns covered in hieroglyphs. In the background, a gold sarcophagus guarded by two giant statues is just visible.

While the theme may be familiar to many players, Treasures of Tombs is beautifully styled, with a glinting ruby jewel in the title and card symbols made to look like treasure.

Gameplay

Simple yet exciting gameplay is on offer here, with players able to choose whether to play one, three, five or nine lines using the Lines button at the bottom. Next to this, in the very middle bottom of the screen, is the Bet One button, which allows you to bet between 1 and 500 credits.

The Max Bet button completes the trio and raises your total stake to 4,500 credits. The paytable can be viewed by pressing on the Help button, which is just below a blue-coloured Credit total. There is also a small Auto Play button right next to the gold and red spin button on the bottom right with a Win button just above it.

This game offers a range of low, medium and high-paying symbols, all based on items that have been buried for thousands of years. High-paying symbols include the explorer, five of which will bag you 5,000 credits, while five sphinxes, the second highest-paying symbol, get you 750.

Horus, represented by a bird, will get you 2,000 for five. Your Wild symbol is the Eye of Horus, which substitutes other symbols and also acts as the scatter symbol. It is easy to spot as it is surrounded by ornate gold.

Three or more of these give you ten free spins and also trigger a bonus game in which players must choose items to win a prize. If you pick one worth nothing, the bonus round ends, but if you are able to collect all objects of value, you’ll go on to the Super Bonus round.

If players choose a gold, bejeweled vase in the Super Bonus game, they win a multiplier. Unlike other video slots, Treasures of Tombs does not have a Gamble feature.
