Theme, Graphics and Soundtrack

Eurasian rarely disappoint when it comes to the visual creation of the worlds in which their games are set. The enchanted forest here is a richly imagined creation of blues, purples and greens colouring a forest of alien-looking plants and fungus with purple fireflies and strange droplets suspended in the air. There is even something of a 3D effect. 

The symbols on the transparent reels match the mood and the look very well. It’s just a shame that the grid isn’t bigger - not only because that would make the spins more dramatic but also because it would make the figures on the screen easier to read. 

The music is the kind of minor-key piano-led tune that you would expect in a game based on magic and mystery, and will do very nicely.

How to Play Wizard (Eurasian)

Before you start the game, take a moment to familiarize yourself with the game set-up, controls and functions with our simple guide:

1. Click - or + to select the total bet.
2. Press spin to spin the reels with the current bet. Alternatively you can press the space bar to spin.
3. If you click power you give yourself the option to enable the Wizard power and to enable fast play. Fast play is not the same as turbo play, which is not available in this game. Fast play simply spins the wheels rapidly for the selected number of times and the progress is concealed behind the front screen with only the result made visible. The feature stops if a bonus is triggered.
4. For auto play mode press the auto button, then select the number of spins to auto-play from 10 to infinity or until free spins is triggered.
5. You can end the automatic game by pressing the stop button to the right of the spin button.
6. Click on Info to open the reference page which describes the different game components.
7. All wins pay left to right. Wins on different lines are added. Only the highest win on each line is paid.
8. Scatter wins are multiplied by the total bet. Scatter wins are added to line wins. Scatter wins are awarded for symbols appearing in any position on the reels for any number of played lines.

Gamble Feature

To gamble any win press the gamble button. You then need to choose red or black. If the card turns and you have chosen correctly your bet is doubled, if not you lose your winnings. If you win you may continue to gamble up to 5 times. The gamble feature can be enabled or disabled in the settings menu. The gamble feature is not available during autoplay.

Wizard (Eurasian) Review: Our Verdict

Unusually for Eurasian Gaming there is not much going on in this game. There are no free spins, no bonus game, no tumble feature, no wilds. The gamble feature is present and correct along with the fast-play feature, which while it can deliver winnings is a strange experience in which you can’t see what is going on. It seems to be a rare slip in quality for a company that is usually reliable.
