How to Play Dance with the Devil

1. Dance with the Devil is played with 25 fixed paylines. There is no option to vary this number. The bet per spin is the chosen coin size multiplied by 25.
2. Click the plus and minus buttons either side of the bet value to change the bet settings.
3. Press the large Play button or the space bar to spin the reel with the current bet. Hold the spin button to make the reel spin continuously. Release to stop. In this mode some of the animations and sounds will be skipped. You can also stop the reels in individual spins by clicking the play button or pressing the space bar.
4. Click the small play button to activate auto spin mode. Click it again to switch it off.
5. Click the speedometer symbol to switch on fast play.
6. Click on the three-line menu box to call up the help page, which describes the different game components.

8. Winning combinations are counted from the leftmost reel and symbols must be consecutive. Only the highest win on each line will pay, but simultaneous wins on different lines are added together.

10. Super stacked wilds will only award multipliers when five wild symbols land fully across the five spaces of an entire reel. These five symbols will show a super stacked wild. 11. The principal multipliers in Dance with the Devil range from x2 to x100. Free games multipliers range from x2 to x666.
12. If two or more super stacked wilds occur in the same spin and form part of a win, then initially their multipliers will be multiplied together, after which the total multiplier will then be applied to the win.
13. If only single wilds land and do not cover the entire reel, there will be no award of a multiplier.
14. You can only win the maximum multiplier, which is x666, when a super stacked wild lands when the Devil’s Free Games feature is in play.

For an additional payment of 75x the current bet you can trigger the Devil’s Free Games feature. If you press the Buy button, you pay for the feature and then the reels will spin for a guaranteed six, eight or ten free games.

The Devil’s Free Games

This is triggered by three or more scatters, giving six free games. Four give eight and five give ten. Any scatters will award an additional two free games. If any wild symbols land, the reel will shift up or down until the whole reel is covered by the wild, and then the super stacked wild symbol will be revealed.    

Dance with the Devil Review: Our Verdict

The base game play is very satisfying, but it’s a shame not to have a genuine bonus game or gamble feature. A lot of the weight is carried by the fairly complex free games feature. It has a decent RTP and a high maximum payout, so it’s good fun if not especially inventive.
