Subtle animations cause palm trees to blow in the breeze, and the volcano continuously emits smoke to remind you that it could erupt at any time. The soundtrack for Wild Lava is pretty simple, but this can actually be a good thing as it means it doesn’t get too irritating during longer gaming sessions and features a simple drum beat and tribal music that adds to the atmosphere of the game nicely.

How to Play Wild Lava

During your general spins, any time you land a Wild or Scatter symbol, these will be collected at the base of the volcano as Wilds. When the volcano erupts, the collected Wilds will be thrown onto the reels in random positions and a respin will be triggered.

Conclusion

Overall, we thought Wild Lava was a well-designed, low-variance video slot. The graphics were a little dated in our view and the reel could have been larger on the screen, but the subtle animations were nicely done and the uncluttered view made for a pleasant gaming experience. The bonus features are where this game really comes into its own, and we particularly loved that Wild Eruption Wild symbols turn sticky during the free spins round as this gave us loads of winning potential!

We do wish the rewards were a little more impressive in Wild Lava, but with such frequent wins, this is a minor drawback in the long run.
