Cluedo Cash Mystery from SG Gaming has a good mix of classic slots gameplay and more modern gaming features. The slot has just 20 paylines and no base game features so it is mostly very straight forward (and, even with medium variance, it can get a little boring) – but, it’s when you get to the free spins that things really pick up speed.

The best thing about this game is the novel free spins concept, where you can combine 17 different scatters to create 180 different free spins bonus rounds. It is something you really don’t see every day, and SG Digital has done a great job of introducing a new mechanic into the slots market that isn’t all about increasing the number of winning ways in the game.

However, the game could benefit from at least one base game feature. Even mystery symbols could add a little bit of a spark – and you know how we feel about mystery symbols. Otherwise, the base game gets quite repetitive.
