The game has a hellish theme, so expect lots of symbols associated with the devil! This is a pretty original theme and it is always nice to see something different to most other slots out there. The graphics are exceptional, with fantastic animations upon every win. The tumbling reels design of the game means there is always something happening, and this is certainly an engaging slot. The reels are set against the fiery backdrop of hell and are presided over by a glamourous she-devil and a terrifying gargoyle.

The game's RTP is 95 per cent, which is acceptable for most players but might be a little low for serious gamers who prefer to play slots with an RTP of 96 per cent and above. Having said that, we did find that wins were triggered fairly often and you shouldn't have too many dead spins, which is always a positive. The game volatility is medium and we had fairly consistent wins, although most were small.

This really couldn't be simpler to play! It is the perfect slot if you are new to online games, as it is incredibly straightforward to pick up. In case you need them, here are some step-by-step instructions to get you started playing Wicked Hearts:

1. Launch the game and wait for the intro screens to finish.

2. Locate the bet display at the bottom of the reels.

Choose one and if your character beats the opposing character, your win will be multiplied. If your opponent wins, however, you will lose your winnings. After each win, you will have the chance to continue gambling for progressively bigger multipliers (up to 32x) or to collect your current winnings.

Overall review of Wicked Hearts

We award Wicked hearts 7/10. This is a stunning slots game and would have scored much higher with a better - or additional - bonus round. The RTP of 95 per cent is not the best we have seen but could have been overlooked if the gameplay had offered that little bit more. It is still an enjoyable game, helped along by the fact the tumbling reels aspect keeps the gameplay going for longer, but the bonus feature is sadly lacking.
