How to play Animal Arcade

Once the game loads, take your time to familiarize yourself with the controls:

1. The menu button takes you through the game's basic rules, its paytable and its features.
2. To place your bets, select the animal(s) you want to bet on. Keep touching the animal symbol to increase your bet. The bet amounts will increase by increments of 0.50 coins up to 10 coins, then 25, 50 and 100 coins. You can select more than one animal and vary how much you want to bet on each. Your total bet amount for each spin will show at the bottom of the screen.
3. To reset all your bets to zero and start again, touch the button with the coin stacks icon. 
4. If you want to use autoplay, these settings can be accessed by touching the arrow button. Set the number of auto spins you want - they go up in increments of 5 to a maximum 50 - and touch the checkmark. The autoplay spins will start straight away, so be sure you have adjusted your bets beforehand. Be aware that there are no loss limit settings on this slot, so keep an eye on your balance and be ready to stop autoplay if you need to by touching the 'stop' button. You cannot adjust bets during autoplay.

Animal Arcade bonus features

Free spin

If the highlight stops on the free spin symbol, the bet amount is returned to the player. The single re-spin starts, beginning from the free spin symbol.

Double win

If the highlight lands on the double win tile, two free spins are awarded. The two spins run simultaneously, one running clockwise and the other running anticlockwise. This provides the opportunity for two wins.

Animal Arcade review: our verdict

Animal Arcade is a little different from your average slot, but it is still fun to play. You can spread your bets so that every round ends in a win, but the 2x tiles see to it that you will win much less than your bet amount and your balance will still erode. We found the double win seemed to come up fairly frequently; however, it doesn't always guarantee a win, as this depends on how the bets are placed.
