Easter Island 2 stars the same pair of quirky Moai characters from the original game – but, this time, they’re in a new setting. Easter Island 2 Review

Easter Island 2 has all of the same features that we enjoyed about the original game but they are amplified for a more entertaining gaming experience. The addition of colossal wilds and colossal symbols brings a new dimension to the gameplay, which are designed to help you land bigger wins more easily.

Some might say Easter Island 2 isn’t different enough from the original, but we think enough has changed to give players a new experience. However, it would be nice if there were an additional round like a free spins bonus.

Another gripe that we have is that it takes a six-of-a-kind win (which is quite rare) in order to expand the reels, whereas the original Easter Island required only a four-of-a-kind win to trigger the first expansion to 65 paylines. So, it’s quite difficult to access the full 55 paylines in Easter Island 2.

Overall, we think some players will still prefer the first Easter Island game. It has more potential ways to win (103 when the reels are fully expanded), and it seems easier to expand the reels. On the other hand Easter Island 2 has higher volatility, colossal wilds and a very cool theme.
