A Classic Board Game with a Twist

Everyone knows the board game that is Monopoly, but here it gets a brand new look as the game moves from its traditional layout and takes centre stage as a game of roulette. With a jazzy tune playing in the background and cool and colourful graphics, this is a game that you’ll want to dive straight into and start playing, but first you need to acquaint yourself with the controls.

Your starting screen presents you with the full selection of numbers to be found on a roulette wheel, divided into the traditional red and black colourway. The board is divided into three sections of twelve numbers each, and along the bottom of your console you also have the options of betting on red or black odds or evens, or specific sets of numbers, which increase your chances of winning a virtual cash prize. You can select specific numbers between 0 and 36, but this game also features the Hot Properties selection for an extra burst of entertainment.

Along the bottom of your console are your controls. The eye symbol to the bottom left allows you to change your point of view, so you can view the betting area from directly above or from an angle, or you can see the betting area laid out in traditional roulette style.

To the left of the playing area is a wheel showing the different denominations of Monopoly money. Choose the note that you would like to play with, and start placing your bets by clicking on the relevant areas of the screen. You can Undo your last selection or Clear all your bets to start again. Once you are happy with your selection, simply hit Spin and you’ll be taken to the playing screen, where the roulette ball is released. If you win, you have the opportunity to play again with the same selection, double up your previous bet or return to the first screen and try your luck with a different selection.

Hot Properties Bonus Round

You can also choose to place a bet on the Hot Properties area of the gaming table. If the ball lands in the corresponding yellow pocket, you’ll be whisked away to a new screen where a bonus game, based on similar lines to Deal or No Deal, takes place, featuring Monopoly properties worth varying amounts.
