How to play

Monopoly Roulette Tycoon is set out like a European version of a roulette table. Towards the top of the screen is the usual layout for betting, where you can choose any number from 1 to 36, or zero (which is green). Plus there are options such as all the red numbers or all the black ones, by clicking on red or black. In addition, you can choose even numbers, odd numbers, numbers from 1-18 and other groupings, simply by clicking on the appropriate area that corresponds with the bet you wish to make.

Below this betting layout is another layout shaped a bit like a racetrack with all the numbers forming a band around the perimeter. This oval shaped layout is divided into sections called Tiers, Orphelins and Voisins, which comprise what are known as the French bets - along with zero. Once you have clicked on the wager you have chosen, then you click on the spin button and the roulette wheel takes centre stage as the ball spins around inside. When it lands, the result is shown on the screen, and you find out whether you have won or lost.

Chips on the side

On the right-hand side of the screen there is a useful tool that allows you to easily adjust your wager by increasing or decreasing the size of the chips you are playing with. This is called the Chip Selector, and you can play with chips with a value of up to one hundred. Other buttons ranged along the bottom to the left of the spin button include buttons to undo your last action on the board or remove all the bets.

Monopolising the bonus

On the left, beneath the wheel on the main screen is the Monopoly board. Click on this and the roulette wheel disappears to be replaced with Monopoly. Then you can pick a property to bet, return to the roulette wheel and have four chances to land in a red pocket to trigger the Monopoly bonus. When you do, Mr Monopoly will jump down, and if he lands on your property he will tap it and send rewards your way.
