Layout

Like most of the other slots on our site, The Spin Lab is comprised of five reels with three rows each, laid out in a standard 5x3 configuration.

There are 25 fixed paylines which are always in play. In total there are 12 game symbols, 10 of which are regular sorts that award prizes for symbol matches, with the remaining two being special types that award wild and scatter functionality, in addition to unlocking the bonus round.

Prize Table

The most valuable regular symbol is the the picture of the cube covered in electronic circuitry. Finding five of these on an active payline will award players with a total prize 800 credits. Next up is the purple molecule, which offers slightly smaller top prizes of 600 credits.

Way down at the other end of the scale are the lowly 'J', 'Q', '10' and '9' symbols. These all offer the same range of prizes, up to a maximum of 100 credits each.

Don't despair though, as with so many unique gameplay features and winning opportunities even these little amounts can add up to something far bigger in no time at all. All prize amounts are multiplied by the line bet.

Special Symbols

Wild First among the special symbols is the wild. This is a substitute, which means that it can be used in place of any other symbol (except for the scatter). Additionally, instances of multiple wilds can be used to unlock some of the game's biggest prizes, up to a massive total of 1,000 credits for five.

Scatter

The second of the special symbols is the scatter, a glowing orb-like thing. This serves multiple purposes, both awarding prizes as well as unlocking this game's complex spin lab bonus round. Finding five of these in any configuration - that is to say, regardless of paylines and orientation - will award a maximum prize of 625 credits.

Finding three or more scatter symbols will unlock the spin lab bonus round, which combines free spins with a number of crazy modifiers. The player begins with five free spins and can choose three modifier features, one from each row, with which to play said spins.

This round needs to be seen to be believed, with the sheer variety of options on offer providing so many different ways of playing. These include everything from a choice of stacked symbols, stacked wilds, additional wilds and multipliers of all kinds as well as additional free spins.
