Symbols and Theme
Mysterious Gems by Genesis is certainly mysterious in nature, and the background music is suitably magical-sounding. The symbols are all precious gems, and in the background. players can see a mysterious scene with a magical and deadly atmosphere. Some of the icons here include human skulls and a quill and ink pot alongside an ancient book, a pot with smoke rising out of it, and a crystal ball with electric shocks buzzing inside.
Gameplay
This game uses tumbling reels instead of the usual spinning reels. This means all the symbols appear in a 6x6 grid formation, and they fall away each spin to be replaced with new symbols that fall down from above. You have to match five gems in a cluster to win a payout. Whenever you land a winning cluster of symbols, the winning gems disappear and new symbols fall down to replace them and generate more potential wins. This sequence continues until you find no new winning combinations. The maximum potential prize available is a huge 1,000x your total bet!
Wild Symbols and Special Gems
There is a special "stretching wild" symbol in this game that can appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. When it appears, it transforms all the other symbols into wilds to create many more winning combinations of symbols. There are three more special gems in the game. The jade gem turns all symbols into the top-paying symbol to award the max payout possible, while the amethyst gives a random cash prize of up to 5x your bet. Finally, the sapphire multiplies your reward by 5x.
