The Characters

The story hinges around the travels of a Buddhist monk named Xuanzang on a mission to western Asia to find some special and very sacred books. This dangerous feat was ordered by Buddha himself, so Xuanzang was given three prophets to protect him. In this game, two of these trusty friends appear in forms that reflect their nicknames, so Sun Wukong is a monkey, Zhu Bajie is a pig, and Sha Wujing is simply a bearded man. The enemies of the man appear as an angry bull with a very scary weapon in hand, a woman and a child.
