Layout

In an unusual twist, this game has ten reels (eleven in the bonus game) that have four rows, divided by the central column into two sets of 5x4. There are 50 paylines in the main game which are fixed and always in play. In terms of bet size, there is a single bet variable with 12 increments. A great range of prizes both large and small is up for grabs in the base game, awarded to lucky players who manage to find successful instances of three, four and five of a kind adjacent matching symbols in a valid configuration. Wins on the left base game require winning combinations to be oriented from left to right, whereas wins on the right base game are calculated from right to left. As with most other slots, all prize amounts are multiplied based on the amount staked. There are a total of 12 symbols, ten of which are just regular types for prize matches, whereas the remaining two are special sorts that offer substitute and free spin functionality. The symbols themselves are a mix of thematic additions for the upper-value prizes - mostly decorative animal heads inspired by the old Egyptian gods, such as the type seen on top of canopic jars - and classic playing-card designators like 'A', 'Q' and 'K for the lower-value ones.

Prize Table

The bird head set with purple jewels is the most valuable regular symbol on the prize table and awards accordingly generous prizes. Next up is the blue jackal, which offers a slightly smaller range of prizes, then the red and gold bird and, finally, the crocodile. At the other end of the scale are the letters and number symbols. The lowest of these is '9', which is the least valuable overall in the entire game.

Wild

First among the special symbols is the wild. This functions as a substitute for any regular symbol, making it easier to make up winning combinations. If multiple wilds are substitutes in a win, the highest win is paid.

Bonus

The second special symbol is the bonus, which is the key to unlocking this game's biggest prizes. Finding two of these symbols both in the left and right base game will trigger the bonus free spins feature. In this game mode, the two sets of reels are joined, with the central column becoming a special all-wild reel and wins being calculated in both directions. With both games joined, players are able to make up massive combinations with up to 11 symbols in return for potentially huge prizes. Free spins can be re-triggered by finding additional bonus symbols, and all free spins are played using the stake of the base game spin that initially triggered them.
