Glory of Heroes is a slot that uses a cluster based pay system. Hit the targets on the 7x7 grid, either by landing cluster wins on them or having your hero character use his Hero powers to eliminate them. Each time a target is eliminated the Boss Bonus increases. When you've cleared a level the Boss Bonus wheel spins for a chance to win the bonus amount. For every cluster win, the symbols disappear, with new symbols cascading into place for the chance of more wins. Every disappearing symbol contributes to the free games meter for that round. How to Play Glory of Heroes

Before you start the game, take a moment to familiarize yourself with the game set-up, controls and functions with our simple guide:

1. Once the game has loaded and you're presented with a splash screen, press anywhere to continue.
2. Before you start, touch the menu icon to access the game's settings and rules. Here you can toggle the sound off and on, access the game's paytable and bonus info, adjust more advanced sound settings and familiarize yourself with the rules. 
3. To adjust your bet, touch the + and - buttons either side of the bet value button. The total bet per spin will automatically change. For the maximum bet, touch the max bet button to the left of the spin button. You'll get a chance to confirm the max bet before continuing with the game.
4. If you want to use the autoplay feature, this can be found by touching the arrow button to the right of the spin button. Take your time to adjust the number of automatic spins and set the loss and win limits which will automatically stop the feature. While autoplay is in progress, you can stop the feature at any time. Autoplay spin options can be infinite so keep your eye on your balance and be ready to stop autoplay before you need to.

Bet Sizes & Paytable Wins 

Bet values range between 0.01 coins and 3 coins per spin and are automatically multiplied by 20, meaning that the bet range per spin is between 0.20 coins and 60 coins. Paytable wins are based on the size of the winning cluster with the red heart gems being the highest paying symbol. Clusters of 5 or more of a kind in horizontal or vertical adjacent positions will trigger a win. On a game with the total bet set at 1 coin per spin, the maximum single win would be from a cluster of 15+ red hearts (with or without wilds) will win 100x your bet. While wilds can contribute to a cluster, they are non-paying on their own and a cluster of wilds will not pay out.

Hero Powers

The Hero is equipped with one of 3 powers at random during the game.

Magic

Nine wilds are added in random positions on the grid during the initial spin. Magic does not work on subsequent cascades.

Counter Attack

If, after 3 consecutive spins, there are no wins, the Counter Attack power will decrease a random target by one level. 

Fury

A random group of symbols will be automatically removed. Unlike Magic, Fury will work on subsequent cascades. 

Free Games

To trigger the free games round you need to collect enough clusters in one round that contain 50 or more symbols between them. Each symbol in a winning cluster increases the meter by one. When the meter is full you'll be awarded at random either 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25 or 50 free games. 

Free games includes a bonus multiplier which is initially set at x1. This multiplier increases by 1 for each cascade during the free games. 

Free games can be retriggered during the feature provided that the meter is filled with 50 symbols during a single round.

Glory of Heroes combines cluster slots with elements of videogame battles where the player battles, weakens and defeats a boss before moving on to the next level. The free games meter resets itself after each round of cascades which can be frustrating if you don't like high volatility slots. On our test run we triggered the free games bonus twice, once with 8 games and once with 10. The random power ups help hit the targets to move you through the levels.
