Magic Lamp puts us in a magnificent palace where the architecture and decoration are all Arab in style (a theme that continues with the music). Other than windows and pillars with their elaborate patterns, all that sits in this room is the lamp itself, just waiting for someone to give it a rub when they press play. On the reels, some rather dull card symbols are accompanied by fun, cartoon depictions of the characters and objects from the story. It could have a little more detail, but it does the job.

1. As you take in the slot, you’ll hear the music playing. If you’d rather a quiet game, go to the Menu button at the top left corner. You’ll find controls to increase and decrease the volume to different levels.
